In case it isn’t clear, that is literally the last bone of a cat’s toes attached to those claws. If you thought only the claw was being removed during declaw surgery, you are unfortunately mistaken. It’s an amputation.
Get claw caps instead! They stay on pretty well and your cat can walk around normally. You can take them off whenever you want. This is great for house cats. They don’t need their claws for defense but they need them to walk the way we need toes. This keeps them from scratching you or furniture and keeps them happy and healthy. It’s a win for everyone. Plus your cat will look like it got a kitty manicure.

Also as someone who has had to replace tons of electrical cords due to chewing, all pets will damage your stuff at some point or another. If you are neither financially able, or emotionally able, to deal with the fact that animals and children will probably cause some destruction then don’t get/have them. Period. Pets are not accessories.

My 8 years-old cat Mikoto just had a kidney surgery that saved her life.
One of her kidney had two stones which were preventing her from draining urine correctly. The doctor said her kidneys were full of pus.
Post-surgery, she’s doing ok but we don’t know how ok she will be. But I have high hopes.
So far, I spent 1000$ and I don’t have any more left to pay the bills.
I could save up some but it will take a lot of time which I don’t have.
I have to pay the clinic in the upcoming days and they don’t facilite payment. (They do but there’s a 4% interest).

I know I’m asking a lot and I don’t really like doing it but it’s my last solution.Â
She’s truly the best cat anyone could wish for.Â
She’s a lovely cat who likes to play and hang out near you. She’s really cute and my family and I love her so very much.Â
When I first heard she was dying I was devastated I didn’t know what to do.
But she’s a true fighter. While her kidneys were slowly failing she was in tremendous pain but she kept going. She’s very brave.

Both her kidneys have stones now.
The doctor said that her kidneys tend to produce stones which will eventually get stuck in her ureters.
So she needs to have a new surgery soon. They will put plastic tubes that will act as her ureters and help her evacuate urine and stones.
It’s a risky and expensive surgery but it’s my last hope to save my Mikoto.
The amount needed for this surgery will be the double of what it’s currently needed.
I really need your help to save her. I know it may be ridiculous to pay this much for a cat but she’s truly like a member of my family.
She’s been there for me when I was going through hard times. She’s been one of the reason I could make it when times were difficult and one of the reason I’m still here today.
She’s a cat who wants to live and even though she’s not the toughest cat she doesn’t give up.
I can’t let her go without trying everything to save her.
